Our story
About Nippon Trade Inc.
Yoshimoto family first moved from Japan to Panama in 1974.
Makio Yoshimoto was a regional sales manager of a Japanese construction equipment manufacture business. Eventually he established his own companies, Latin America Information Service S.A. in 1982 and Kaoba International S.A. in 1987.
Specialized in consulting services and wood trading, the companies grew through helping businesses in Panama and Japan.
His son, Kosuke Yoshimoto, being very passionate about the great quality of Latin American coffee and cacao, started Nippon Trade Inc. in 2016.
Since then our business assisted importers, specialty markets, coffee shops, roasters, patissiers and customers with same passion for quality that characterizes Nippon Trade Inc.
